Is the nursery still owned by the family?

Yes. Russells is still an independent nursery owned by the brothers David & Brian Russell.

While David has retired to concentrate on his Secret Quarry Garden and the Mill Garden in Warwick, Brian is still very much involved in the day to day running of the centre, along with the assistance of his daughter Kate.

The nursery has been operating from the Baginton site for over 80 years now, and our reputation for quality home grown plants is as strong as ever. With so many garden centres being swallowed up by chains and supermarkets, it is refreshing to operate an independent centre with a traditional outlook and a personal touch.
